PIA National Postpones Spring Meetings
In light of the rapidly developing situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, PIA National is postponing our spring meetings indefinitely. This postponement covers all of the PIA meetings that had been scheduled next week.
Included in the postponement is PIA Advocacy Day, which had been planned for March 31 – April 1 on Capitol Hill. PIA National’s Government Relations staff is hard at work every day engaging with congressional offices and monitoring the torrent of emergency legislation being considered and passed on Capitol Hill. We will continue to keep everyone fully apprised. Be sure to check the PIA Advocacy Blog at www.piaadvocacy.com.
Recipients of the three spring PIA National Awards will be announced publicly during the first week of April via press releases; the winners have been notified that they will be invited to be honored in person during PIA’s planned fall awards ceremony in September, in San Diego, California.
PIA National’s business will continue uninterrupted.
In keeping with instructions from our local authorities in Virginia and out of concern for the well-being of our staff, PIA National has adopted a mandatory “work from home” policy. We are fortunate in that we prepared by upgrading our technology. Just email or call us as you usually do.
