Ever since the start of the coronavirus crisis, PIA National has greatly increased its communication of information about COVID-19 of interest to PIA members, independent insurance agents. Here’s a look:

Our lead communications channel is the weekly e-newsletter PIA National Newsline. Because many developments are more fast-moving, we also rely on the PIA National website and the regulatory-focused PIA Advocacy Blog Both are updated daily, depending on what’s happening.

PIA National has started a coronavirus webpage at It is a resource center, updated daily with many links to insurance and more general coronavirus information. For in-depth legislative and regulatory updates, see the PIA Advocacy blog at In addition, we’re regularly sending coronavirus updates via email.

PIA’s messages are also distributed via various social media channels.

PIA has greatly increased its use of video to engage PIA with content of interest to PIA members and our carrier partners.
