Agent to Agent: 4 Ways to Give Thanks to Your Clients
By Ed Gillman
As the owner of an independent agency, it is important to understand the importance of giving thanks to your clients. Again and again, we claim that we are different than the “big guys” because we take the time to get to know our clients. We know that we are there for them on a personal level, but it is important for us to continually show that to maintain our message and brand.
Here are just a few ways to give thanks to your clientele this season:
- Offer an exclusive discount to help you clients save money. You may not be able to offer much, but if your agency can afford to do so, this is a wonderful way to keep your clients satisfied.
- Create and send out a “Thank You” email campaign. A thoughtful campaign is one way to reach out and show your sincerity.
- Hold a friendly competition on Facebook. Find a way to make saying “thank you” fun. Decide on a contest idea and reward the winner with a gift card. (Example: The 50th “Like” on this status will receive a $50 gift card to Target!)
- Write a “Thank You” blog post. This is a simple method, and the best part? You will have fresh content up on your website. Be sure to share the link to your post on all social media channels.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to show how thankful you are to have the clients you do. A personalized and sincere “Thank You” during this season will go a long way. After all, we are human!
Treat your clients the way that they deserve to be treated, and you will surely enjoy their business and a professional relationship with them for years to come.
